In the Commands list (top right box), type p to get to the commands starting with ‘p’.Scroll down the list of Categories (top left box) to All commands and select it (number 1 in the screenshot below).Below the left panel of commands, click the Customize button (next to Keyboard shortcuts) to open the Customize Keyboard dialog box.Click Customize ribbon in the left panel. On the File menu, click Options to open the Word Options dialog box.Note: As far as I’m aware you can do this in all versions of Word from at least Word 2010 onwards. However, if you have to do this a lot, there’s another, much easier, way - assign a keyboard shortcut to the ‘paste as unformatted text’ command. It seem that Ctrl+Shift+C is somehow now also triggering this!Īny suggestions on fixing this would be much appreciated please.I’ve previously written about using toolbar icons, macros, or other features of Word to paste copied text as unformatted text (see and ). I also see that there is an IrfanView KB shortcut for magnifying: Ctrl+Shift+Mouse move, to "Show magnifier window". (But there is no way to disable it I gather, from reading previous posts here.) Nor do I ever anticipate wanting to use that operation. That does not occur, just as it has never occurred in the past. This only happens in IrfaView.Įxamining the KB shortcuts I note (for the first time in all these years) that Shift+Ctrl+C is apparently supposed to assign the current image as my wallpaper.

I have to right and left click a few times to remove it. I use the Snagit shortcut Shift+Ctrl+C in any application which then lets me drag the mouse cursor and copy that rectangle to the clipboard, for pasting anywhere.īut suddenly, if I use that shortcut on an IrfanView image, a highly magnified small square pops up. But today a very surprising conflict has arisen. I've used both IrfanView and Snagit for decades.
